Prerequisites

• Requires Protein or Amino.
• Requires the Growout Planning Module.
• Scheduler must be running, with the interface set up to download field transactions from Sonar.
• Bird weight scales must be connected to Sonar and actively generating bird weight data.

How It Works

Every night, a field transaction is downloaded for every flock and house with Sonar installed and an active flock. This field transaction will appear in the Field Transactions screen, with the Record Source Type set to Sonar.

The downloaded field transactions will include the actual bird weight.

When running the Short Range Projection, the system uses these field transaction weights to refine the projections for each house, optimizing your processing schedule by ensuring that the right houses are picked up at the ideal time.

If the field transaction weights are being utilized, you’ll see the relevant information in the Memo field of the short range projection.

Note: There are certain registry switches related to this process.

The Actual Weight Days setting determines how many days to look back for field transactions before the processing date. Ensure this setting has a sufficient number of days to include the relevant field transactions when running your short range projection.

The Weight Mode Priority should be set to a setting that includes Field Transactions.
