Prerequisites
- Requires Protein or Amino.
- Sonar interfaces must be set up in Protein (this is automatic in Amino).
- In Protein, the Feed Reorder interface must be scheduled to run hourly (this is also set up automatically in Amino).
Benefits
Customers using Sonar with Protein/Amino FDSA benefit from near real-time feed inventory data. Based on these inventories, the system will automatically place a feed order when a house is running low, ensuring that growers never run out of feed.
How It Works
- Each time the Feed Reorder interface runs, it will check Sonar to see if there are any houses whose bins will be out of feed in some time interval less than the feed reorder days (set up in the Protein/Amino Registry).
- If there are, then Sonar will send the current bin inventories to Protein/Amino and these will be saved as field transactions.
- After the records are saved, an FDSA projection is triggered and it will create a load in FDSA.
