Benefits

The Events tab in the Sonar App provides a clear overview of both upcoming and past events for your flock. This feature improves communication between integrator planning departments and growers by ensuring that any updates to the plan are immediately reflected in Sonar, keeping growers informed in real-time.

How It Works

Upcoming Events

The upcoming events display planned transactions created in BRPA and FDSA. As schedules are updated and posted in Protein/Amino, these changes are automatically reflected in the Sonar App. Users can click on any event to view more details.

  • Planned Placement: Created when a placement schedule record is posted in BRPA for the flock.
    • Card details: House, Date, time, and Projected Head Placed
  • Planned Feed Delivery: Generated when a load is built in Feed Order Planning for the flock.
    • Card details: House, Bin, Date, Time, Load Number, Feed Amount, Feed Type, Driver Name, Loaded Flag, Begin and End Load Times, Notes
  • Planned Processing: Created when a short-range projected pickup schedule is posted in BRPA.
    • Card details: House, Date, Time, Projected Head Count, Projected Average Weight, Catch Date Time, Date Feeders Raised

Past Events

Once an actual transaction is recorded in Protein (e.g., for placements, feed deliveries, or processing), the event details are moved to the Past Events tab.

  • Placement: A planned placement is removed from the Upcoming Events list when an actual placement transaction for the same flock and date is posted.

    • Card Details: House, Date, Time, Hatchery Name, Head Placed, Driver Name, Arrival Time

  • Feed Delivery: A planned feed delivery is moved to the Past Events list once an actual feed delivery is created by right-clicking the load and creating the delivery.

    • Card Details: House, Bin, Date Time, Load No, Amount, Feed Type, Driver Name

  • Processing: A planned processing is moved to the Past Events list after an actual processing transaction is recorded for the same flock and date.

    • Card details: House, Date, Time, Ref No, Trailer No, Head Count, Net Weight, Gross Weight, Tare Weight
