To manage flocks in Sonar Web, click the Flocks tab in the navigation. You’ll see a list of all existing flocks, which can be filtered by Active, Inactive, Closed, or All flocks.

Creating a Flock

To create a new flock:

1. Click the + NEW FLOCK button at the top of the screen.
2. Enter all required details for your flock.
3. You can choose to create the flock for all houses on your farm or manually select specific houses using the Create Specific Houses field if the flock is only being placed in certain houses.
4. Once you've entered the information, click CREATE to finalize the creation of the flock.

Flock Details

After creating a flock, you can add additional details such as:

• Start Date
• Head Placed
• Last Date Sold
• Product
• Breed

These details are essential for Sonar, as they are used to calculate the flock's age and determine applicable standards.

Field Transactions

Sonar generates daily field transactions for each flock, which can be viewed under the Field Transactions tab. These transactions summarize the data for the day into a single total or average.

Exporting Sonar Data

To export Sonar data:

1. Click the Export button in the navigation pane.
2. You can customize the export by selecting parameters such as flocks, life of flock data, date ranges, and whether you want hourly or daily data.
3. The data can be exported to Excel for further analysis.
